MEAL PLANNING

Weekly Meals: October 21st-27th

Our weekly meals are being planned a little bit later than usual this week. This will occasionally happen, and it works out just fine. The reason for our tardiness this week is because we had some things pop up that made us cancel a trip. Initially we were going to drive to Sydney for 3 days, but we will be staying home instead. That means a couple of extra meals will need to be added to our weekly meal plan. Fortunately we have lots of food at home and lots of creative ways to make new recipes.

We wanted to keep our grocery list to a bare minimum this week since we were out and about all of last week. We actually didn’t end up eating at home at all last week because my mom came to visit and treated us to a night out at the Casino. So this week we are making the most of the ingredients we have at home and saving as much money as possible.

What are you doing to save money on groceries? Let us know in the comments.
