MEAL PLANNING

Weekly Meal Plan: May 20th-26th

Last week was absolutely amazing! We had not one, but two moms visit us in Moncton! Our meal plan didn’t exactly go accordingly but that’s OK. We will be using all our leftover ingredients for this week’s meal plan.

For those who may be new to our weekly meal plan posts, I’ll quickly explain how we maximize our savings. First we make a list of 7 meals we want to eat. You could easily write more meals if you need to make more than one meal per day, especially on weekends. Next we make a list of all the ingredients needed to make those meals. I know it seems like a lot of work but this is the BEST way to save money. By making this list you can see what you need all in one place instead of looking at each individual recipe. You can see how much you may need of certain ingredients – I’m sure you’ll need more than one onion! And from there you can make your grocery list by looking at which ingredients you are missing.

Through these posts, we hope you’ll be able to save money by limiting what you buy to what you need. Plus snacks, of course.
