MEAL PLANNING

Weekly Meal Plan: July 29th – August 4th

If you haven’t been following us on Instagram, then you might not be aware that we are currently in moving. Everything is a giant mess, as is to be expected. But we are still trying to  follow our meal plan and eat at home when possible.

Last week’s meal plan didn’t end up happening for the most part so we will be reusing half of the recipes. I’m also going to write down some other meals to fill up the week, but I haven’t done the groceries yet. My plan is to wait and see how much we eat of what we already have on hand before buying anything else.

It will be a very small grocery this week given that we are reusing lots of stuff. We will surely be buying some snacks soon since we don’t have very many in the house. But all in all, spending on groceries will be minimal.

What do you usually do for meals when you’re in the middle of a stressful situation? We’ve been finding it challenging to make a meal in the middle of all our moving mess. Despite this, we did still cook half the time. We only went out once for a sandwich at a corner store, and once to the actual restaurant. However, we didn’t stick to the meal plan per say, we just make the easiest things we possibly could, such as frozen pizza. #oops
