MEAL PLANNING

Weekly Meal Plan: March 18th-24th

I know it’s not as bad as I think it is, but I can’t help feeling like I’m falling behind on everything this month! It’s as though I’m trying to catch up on all the little things I was putting off in January and February and now the stress is overwhelming me to get everything done. Despite that, I am making a conscious effort to make my  weekly meal plan, prep as much as I can (even when that is very little) and shop the sales for our stock pile.

Our total cost for this week’s grocery is $65.02! I’m really proud that we went under budget this week since we were a bit over budget last week. To reward myself for meal planning and being so much under budget, I made two personal purchases. One of them will actually be featured on the blog later on, but the other was a treat for me – some Mini Eggs!

Do you guys ever reward yourself after you feel like you accomplished something important? It’s definitely one of my favourite motivators, in moderation. Let us know what works to keep you motivated to get stuff done!
