Stores

  • Superstore – salmon, milk, mushrooms, bread, perogies, juice
  • Costco – spinach, strawberries, tuna snacks, cheese & crackers, mayonnaise
  • Dollarama – Nachos (because they had none at Costco)
  • Sobeys – Yves Veggie Ground Beef
  • Tomavo – Tomato, Squash, Avocado
  • Giant Tiger – Cherry Sauce, Tomato Soup
  • No Frills – Oeros, Mini Eggs, Bear Paws, Chicken Nuggets, Fish Sticks, Eggs

It might seem like a lot of work, and sometimes it is, but finding the best deals at different stores is a sure way to save money, especially if you’re stock piling. Fortunately for us, all the stores are relatively nearby with the exception of No Frills.

Our total spending this week on groceries was $114.50. A few items were not on the initial grocery list, such as Chicken Nuggets and Fish Sticks, but it was an extra little treat I decided to get for us since we had been under budget for over two months. Our regular weekly budget for groceries is $100.

Let us know what kind of meals you’re making this week, or the best deal you’ve found this week!
